My subjects vary from people, animals, architecture, surfing and skateboarding. Sometimes an array of colors attract me but sometimes a black and white picture speaks more. I’m inspired by street photographers not wedding photographers. Candid rather than posed. Lately I've been into taking photos of people: friends, strangers and the homeless.
"Catch something in the moment that someone else missed.”
Reid Cashour was born January 14, 1992 in Long Branch New Jersey. He graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with a BA in English with professional writing.
Reid acquired an interest for photography in eighth grade from his computer arts teacher. She took her class on several trips and required students to bring a disposable camera. She explained to look for patterns in everyday life and just to be creative.
Not until 2008 did Cashour grow a passion for photography and begin documenting life through photographs. He enjoys surfing and skateboarding and currently resides in Shark River Hills.
