As far as defining my style, I would have to say varied. I love action pictures and sports. However, I also love landscapes, portraits, and many pictures of the shore. Situational photos and people's expressions are especially facinating to me.
Frank Costello bought his first camera when he went to the ’76 Summer Olympics, and he's been in love with photography ever since. Teaching, and practicing Pediatric Dentistry, and raising his seven children restricted the amount of time he could devote to his avocation, but, as his last child approached college graduation in 2014, Frank decided to retire and devote much more time to his photography.
"I’ve donated many of my photographs to various charities for many years, and I’m proud to say that one of my pictures has been hanging in the world famous Cooper Clinic, Dallas, for the past five years. Thus far I have entered three competitions: The Real Jersey Shore Book in 2011 - Of the 1,300 photographers entered I had the second highest number of pictures in the book (nine). Ocean County Artist's Guild Photography Show 2012 - My picture, “Solo” won Best In Show Ocean County Artist's Guild Photography Show 2013 - My picture, "The Roller Coaster” won 3rd Place in B/W. I plan on entering many more competitions now that I am retired, and have the time."
