BIO & STATEMENT
The multidimensional characteristics of my artwork is mixed media (oil, acrylic, charcoal, pencil, glow-in-the-dark paint) with industrial raw materials (electrical wire, copper, nails). My goal is to achieve three-dimensional views. Visual effects, angles, movement, and lighting also play an important role in my artwork.
My Transitional Art consists of 2 images in one piece. One in the daylight (e.g. Bob Marley) and the other in darkness whereas the glow-in-the-dark paint will portray another image (e.g. the face of Bob Marley). I seek to tell a story in an animated medium, using both traditional and unconventional methods.
While I continue to discover and use various mediums in my mixed media art, I occasionally create traditional pieces through my sketches, oil & acrylic paintings and my photography. They combine elements of humanity and nature; elements of curiosity and humor; and the fascination of colors and shading and how it "catches the eye".
