“I create the kind of paintings I like to live with. I occupy myself less with filling the canvas with objects, focusing instead on color, texture and line work to convey mood and emotion. I enjoy the versatility of acrylic paint. It affords the spontaneity and layering effect I seek. As someone who has divided her life between city and shore, my inspirations are generally drawn from those experiences.”
