Many of my abstract works are based on the disconnection of the visual and tapping into the senses. I try to express sensations that bring on a recollection of a memory, time, or place. I represent sounds, skin sensations, and smells through line and color. I also work with creating symbols within my work that provoke the viewer to visualize themselves in another place, the places my work depicts.
